HYDROFLIGHT COMPETITION RESULTS
2014 X DUBAI FLYBOARD WORLD CUP – 9th Place
2013 FLYBOARD WORLD CUP – 2nd Place
At the 2014 X Dubai Flyboard World Cup Cooper Riggs unveiled his new Infinity Flip and would certainly have been battling for a podium position again had he not flipped his ski with under 30 seconds to go in his Round of 16 run. Unlike in 2013 where Cooper snuck in last minute and wasn’t on anyone’s radar in Dubai he was a favorite. Cooper Riggs is certainly one of the most consistent Hydroflight competitors on the planet having also placed in the Top 8 at the 2014 Flyboard North American Championship.
In 2013 Cooper was a late entrant to the competition and with only five months of Flyboarding under his belt, he delivered when it counted and put together solid run after solid run. Throughout the 2013 Flyboard World Cup Riggs was able to go huge while keeping complete control over his equipment and it was that consistency that allowed the judges to really get into his flying. See where Cooper Riggs currently sits in our H2RO Hydroflight World Rankings.
