H2RO MAGAZINE EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW
H2RO: So Aaron, tell us a little bit about your sports background and how you ended up living and working in such a beautiful place?
Well, I’ve been active and playing some type of sport since I can remember.. I played football for about 10 years, ran track for my High school where I won States in several events, I’ve played several different positions in baseball, a little basketball, and I set a WV state powerlifting record for my age/weight class when I was in High school. As for how I ended up in Mexico…that’s a story that could take all day…I’ll just say it’s been an unforgettable journey.
H2RO: Tell us about AquaXtreme Adventures? Everyone who’s tried Flyboarding knows how incredibly unique an experience it is, what would you say are most peoples reactions to their first time flying with you?
AX offers a whole new way to make your vacations ones to remember. You can rent luxurious yachts, boats, jet skis, and learn to fly the Flyboard. We offer tandem flights, shows, special events, day or night charters, rentals, and so much more. Anyone can check us out on Facebook.
H2RO: What are some of your personal goals as a Pro Flyboarder?… besides having a sick custom board made for you… now I have an excuse to share that picture.
As a Pro Flyboarder my biggest goal is to become one of the “faces” of Flyboarding! I want nothing more than to innovate our wonderful sport and raise global awareness to it, being a pioneer for others. One of my passions is helping children and adults with disabilities to experience the wonders of Flyboarding!
H2RO: What is your process for pushing the equipments limits and inventing new tricks? Do you have a trick that has become your favorite?
I really don’t have a process…I just strap the Flyboard on and go! I push myself beyond my limits thus doing the same for the equipment.
H2RO: How do you see BOTH the recreational side of the sport and the professional competitive side of the sport evolving over the next few years?
The more exposure we can get the sport…the more shows we put on, competitions we have..all this will Improve both the recreational and the competitive side of the sport…we need people to see how amazing and fun Flyboarding is.
H2RO: Who are the other Pro Flyboarders out there that push you and inspire you with their flying?
Other Pro Flyboarders who inspire and push me…that would have to be Suksan Tongthai, and Ben Merrell.
H2RO: Time for a Flyboarding Tip, lets make this one for advanced riders. What is one thing that you feel has to be mastered in order to get your flying up to an elite level?
A Flyboarding tip…it may sound silly but, flying backwards; because that skill can get you out of a lot of situations!
H2RO: Finally, what are some of the topics you think H2RO Magazine should try to cover?
What do I think H2RO should cover! Basically anything that has to do with the sport of Flyboarding. As I said before, any positive publicity the sport can get will be a step into the future..we have a new generation of future flyers to connect with.
Thanks very much Aaron for this interview and H2RO is definitely stoked to follow your ascent to the top of the Pro Flyboarding World.
